Vehicle Detail
"NO TITLE"A very hard to find jeep and definitely a head turnerAccording to the previous owner this is a '54 willy jeep truck but I did some research and I believe its a '57 willy jeep FC-150 truck,4x4Everything is on its original condition, I was planning on restore this awesome truck my self but I just don't see the time .Original 4 cylinder engine still in there and according to the previous owner it may still run but I can't not guarantee that as I never tried to get it to run, transmission seems to go thru the gears just fine but once again, I can't not guarantee that . very minimal rust, cab and bed are on really good condition, gas tank may need to be replace, windshield is crack, driver side window is broken and the passanger side window still there but is just off the track, rest of the windows are fine, no battery, doors open and close just fine, drivers side door seems like somebody welded before, I don't have a key for the ignition or lockscomes with some extra rims and tires, i have 6 of the original wheels (front of the truck)and 4 of what we can call aftermarket or just from a different model jeep(back of the truck)tailgate goes up and down just perfect, has a 1 7/8 hitch ball, front and rear bumper are on good condition, bed of the truck is really straight overall, this truck is on great condition for its age and it has a lot of potential, great project for the right persongas cap is not included on the price, I will keep that as an antiqueplease look at all the pictures and make sure this is the truck of your dreams before bidding, make sure you have the money and please be serious about it SOLD AS IS contact me for any questions you have. LolFront/driver side parking light came onlight for the odometer came on and the red bulb that I think could be for the oil came on Engine does turn from the ignition switch, real slow but turns ,I just didn't wanted to keep trying since there is no gas and is being sitting for so long, now...I still can't not guarantee that the engine runs, but at least we know it turns from the ignition switch, and we know starter works. On Apr-03-14 at 21:51:38 PDT, seller added the following information: ENGINE IS RUNNING !!!Yes.. engine runs !!We decide to play with it today and after a couple hours we got it running, used a battery instead of the battery charger, replace the spark plugs with new ones, by pass the gas tank with a temporary container just to give it a try, replace a gasket from the gas sending unit and a quick clean up to the carburetor, try it a couple of times and fired up from the ignition switch, we only leave it running for about 5-10 minutes because there is a hose and a reservoir for the antifreeze that are missing as you can see on one of the pictures and we didn't wanted the thermostat to get hot and open up, still needs a mayor tune up, oil change, wires, filters etc. and probably go thru the entire vehicle before you can take it to the road, I know is missing that reservoir and also a u joint for the back as it shows on one of the pictures, still a project but now with the engine running and a little bit of work, you can take it in and out of the garage running not pushing, now.. engine is running but once again, i can not guarantee transmission clutch and all that, while engine was running I went thru the gears with out letting the clutch out and they seem to be ok but again I can not guarantee anything,it is a project but if you are handy with tools and know what you are doing with vehicles, this could be an easy fix to get it back on the road , then door seals, then paint etc. all tires hold air but I wont recommend to use them on the road, they are old, if there is any more updates I will let you know, GOOD LUCK !!
