Up for bids is this 1949 ford panel wagon. Let me start this listing out by saying I had a guy that had agreed to buy it came and looked at it and backed out because it wasn't what he wanted. I will not end the listing early it will run to the end. Also this is a 65 year old truck so it is old and worn and needs to be restored. I would welcome anyone to come look at it before bidding. This would make a great project to rebuild if you are willing to do it. These are very hard to come by in any condition. I took alot of picture so I think I covered just about everything. I will do my best to describe it but understand that this is a 46 year old truck. It is old and has flaws. Its not perfect. I will start out with the body. The front fenders will need work. There is bondo in the bottom of them. The doors have rust rust in the bottom of them. There is some rust around the headlights. The running boards and the area behind the running boards to the wheel well opening look good on both sides. There is some bondo in the rear lower quarters around the bottom and the back piece under the doors that the bumper mounts go through has some bondo as well. These are all pieces that would be easy to repair with patch panels. The frame is good on it. The engine bay is good on it. The hood is okay. The wood in the back it good. The interior is there. It has a after market shifter in it. It also has some newer look gauges in it but I have the originals. The motor and transmission are missing or were removed before I got it. I think it had a newer 302 in it. It has a clear title. It is located in Jonesboro Louisiana. It will have to be picked up here. I can store it as long as needed but will require full payment within seven days of the end of auction. I will accept cash in person, certified bank check, or bank wire transfer as payment for this item. Again this is a project. I have restored cars that were almost rusted in half before. This is a very buildable project. Yes it needs work but its a great start for a project thats hard to find.
