Vehicle Detail

For sale is my 1963 Ford Econoline pickup project. This was a project I started but due to time I am unable to finish. This is a former US military truck, used in service by the Air Force. The truck has the original air force plaque and sticker. These Econolines, and especially the pickups, are rare on the road these days and this would be a great project for anyone who wants a really unique vehicle.  A lot of the truck is currently dissembled but I have accumulated probably about 90% of the parts needed to get this thing back on the road. The engine is the Ford 144 six cylinder with a three on the tree manual transmission. It is running as I fired it up and tested it before removing it to refresh it and replace gaskets. That project never got finished, however, so it is left to the new owner to decide whether they want to rebuild it or just refresh it and put it back in the truck. The main downside to the truck is the rusty floor pan that will have to be patched or replaced and the rough front end (there are quite a few dents and some old bondo work). New parts and parts I collected that will be included in the sale: -US Racing wheels with brand new Cooper Cobra Tires. Double staggered for an aggressive look (14"s in the front and 15"s in the back). -Good condition black vinyl seats. -Long tube headers with dual mufflers -New ignition system parts (coil, plugs, cap rotor and points, wires) -Rebuilt original FordMoCo carburetor. -New full engine seal kit -New freeze plug kit -New waterpump, thermostat and housing. -New engine mounts -Complete rust free doghouse engine cover and battery box.  As stated before about 90% of the parts needed to get the truck running are present. Apart from the labor all that's missing are: new brakes or service the ones on the truck. New fuel and brake lines. Have the truck rekeyed or install new locks, as I do not have a key for it. New turn signal indicators and new brake lights. With the purchase price of the truck and all the parts I have purchased I have nearly $2000 into the truck. I'm just looking to get some of that back and hope that she goes to a new owner who can give her the attention she deserves and get her on the road. Truck will be sold with bill of sale only, new owner can apply for a title, which shouldn't be hard given the age of the truck and how long it's been off the road. Please contact me with any questions.
