1969 Mach One Cobra Jet. Ram air induction. Shaker. Marti report included. 428 motor, date correct as per previous owner of 26 years, not verified. 4 speed top loader tranny. Originally C-6 automatic. Originally the rare Indian Fire Red with black clarion interior and rear sportdeck seat. Power steering, power brakes. Was going to do a resto mod pro touring, don't have the heart to cut up an original California R code, built and sold. No rust issues whatsoever. Motor rebuilt less than 100 miles ago. 870 Holley, Adjustable Roller rocker arms, Crane cam, .30 over Hooker headers, Brand new radiator, new exhaust. Alum PI intake, Original heads, everything new. Summit Racing hydraulic lifters. Car runs out very well. I have video of car running if requested. Push button start system. Msd Ignnition. Interior redone few years ago and shows very well. Ford Turbine Vintage wheels and BF Goodrich rubber. Comes with original chrome mag wheels as well in very good shape. New chrome bumpers. Excellent original glass. Needs new weatherstripping. Paint and body need finishing. Very straight. Great base for paint. No rust. New quarter panel installed early in life due to son backing into pole, I believe all other panels are original. Excellent floors and rails. Excellent detailed trunk. List goes on and on. Bought from 2nd owner of 26 years who was an Air Force mechanic. This is THE car. This is an AC car and has a compressor, condenser, brackets etc. The rear is a 3.00 conventional and hasn't been changed. The main question is about rust. There are no rust issues with this car nor has there ever been. It was from California and spent the majority of 40 years in a garage under blankets. The floors and rails are as solid as they come. This will be a very easy restoration being that the body is very straight and only needs finishing before paint. There is no evidence anywhere of the previous Indian Fire paint. It has all been taken down and painted satin black and is ready for whatever color you choose.
