This car truly came out of a barn on my 93 year old late great uncle's farm in southeast iowa.. The barn had no door and a dirt floor. I hauled it to my shop and put tires on that hold air (for a day or two anyway). It has a clear signed title last issued in 1982. THIS IS THE FIRST TIME THIS CAR HAS BEEN OFFERED FOR SALE IN 30 YEARS. The vin is correct for an SS, 138176K137811. The cowl tag reads correct for an SS with a 4 speed, rear antenna, rear speaker, deluxe seat belts, built 4th week of december 1966 in Kansas City, painted in Marina blue with medium bright blue interior, and a bench seat. The motor and transmission are not in the car. Keep in touch and they might be found for purchase later. I think the rear axle is incorrect being a 10 bolt, and the trunk lid is incorrect for an ss car. The frame looks good, I didnt find any rot. The floor pans and trunk floor are pretty bad. The upper half of the car seems pretty solid, doors and windows function correctly, the drivers quarter window is broke out, rest looked good. The car rolls on tires holding air, and steers for easy loading. It has no rear shocks so very bouncy. Vehicle is sold AS-IS where is. Buyer is responsible for all shipping concerns.
