Completely forgotten about until the warehouse was cleaned out recently Just Drove it down the Street!! *****************On 3/22 *************** Some rust under drivers floor pan, and in spare tire well...both repairable...but had an alfa/fiat expert here yesterday (very nice guy, wanted the car, pulled out the cash but wife said no until he gets rid of some others he has first) He checked the car out extensively and said for what it is he would consider it to be "rust- free" so to speak because the minimal rust is fixable, and there is NO RUST anywhere important (rockers, rails, sills, etc) He said most likely because it was stored in doors for 24 years saved it....said he hasn't seen a 79 Spider Veloce this clean....EVER It runs GREAT. Just applied, and I'll have a clear title in about 90 days...I have a signed title from the owner, but a "buyer" filled in buyers section then never did anything else...then it sat for 24 years...I will be getting a clean title...its not really an issue...just have to wait on the state to process the paperwork but I need to clear my yard in preparation for boat season (We also do boat restorations for Rolesville Marina) ....
