This VX needs an engine. It will start & run but it sounds like a tackle box in a clothes dryer and it shows no oil pressure. I didn't have the engine torn down but my mechanic says it sounds like a rod is broke and there may be some piston damage. Transmission is tight and all the electronics work fine. I don't have the tools, parts or knowhow to fix it so I'm hoping someone has a wrecked one with a good motor or needs parts. The car has a salvage title. I bought it from a rebuilder in 2004 and was told the previous owner rolled it. The body and interior is very good, no dents, dings, rips, except the previous owner must have had a dog that liked to ride in the jump seat because there are some scratches on the passenger door panel. Not bad but noticeable. The car does need a paint job. I always used seat covers and floor mats. I have the spare tire cover but the plastic nut/screw things are, of course, broken. I have an extra ECM that I purchased when I was having starting problems in cold weather but I found out it was simply a bad ground in the ignition. The car is in Carthage, MO (near Joplin).
