1961 Austin Healey 3000 BN7 2 seat Roadster with V8 power A very well built 1961 Healey with beautiful black paint. The car is very straight and has been well cared for since it was built 6 years ago. With only 2600 miles since completion, it is ready to be driven. Exterior: · Black paint, and chrome trim · A very nice original grill and hood trim up front · No bumpers or badging · No top Interior: · All black and chrome with wood trim accent on the steering wheel · SW vintage gauges · Minimal switches for lights, wipers, turn signals, ignition · A grab bar for your passenger · Lap belts · Room behind the seats for a golf bag or weekend luggage · I also have a 4 point roll bar that goes with the car. It is not installed and will require modification to the mounting plates to fit. It is the correct width to fit the car. See photos. Engine: · Chevrolet 327 c.i. bored out to 331c.i. with a thumping idle, good power and good street manners · Holley vacuum secondary 650 cfm carb with electric choke on a dual plane Holley intake · World Products SR heads, 76 c.c., 2.02” intake, 1.6” exhaust · Cam, hydraulic, split duration 279/297, lift .479”/.465”, 107 lobe sep. · Hypereutectic pistons · Rotating assembly crack checked, peened, and balanced · Standard 12 volt electrical system with negative ground · A 20 gallon fuel tank in the trunk gives you plenty of range Transmission: · Car is sold with both manual 4 speed and automatic transmission set ups · Currently a TH400 is installed with a shift kit and upgraded internals, and an aftermarket torque converter with 2000 rpm stall, and a Lokar shifter · Included with the car is a complete 4 speed manual set up with..... o Flywheel, clutch assembly, throw-out bearing, clutch fork, bell housing, and Saginaw 4 speed with 1st 2.54:1, 2nd 1.80:1,3rd 1.44:1, 4th 1:1, chrome shifter with wood knob, drive shaft, z bar and clutch pedal and hydraulics. Suspension: · Front suspension is all Austin Healey with lever arm shocks. The car handles well and is fun to drive. · Rear suspension uses the original leaf springs with Rancho Suspensions My Ride air over hydraulic shocks, offering 9 levels of control to adjust the ride to the road conditions. Ride height is not changed, only the firmness. The controller is a wireless handheld unit inside the driver’s door pocket for easy access Brakes: · 4 wheel disc brakes are used with a Wilwood master cylinder and proportioning valve Wheels and Tires: · The car has chrome knock off wire wheels on all four corners · The fronts are original Healey wire wheels with Yokohama Avid 185 65R15 tires · The rears are custom made Dayton wire wheels with Yokohama Avid 275 60R15 tires Additional: · Since there is no spare tire, a plug kit and 12 volt air pump are included...just in case! · Don’t forget, you also get the manual transmissioin set up and the roll bar!
