This bike was built and reconditioned by a local bike builder / enthusiast. He spared absolutely no expense & time on this one of a kind build. I bought the bike from him last year in this condition. THE ONLY REASON why I am choosing to sell this is to help fund a new business venture. If it wasn't for this, I would be keeping her forever. The pictures below even show that it was part of my wedding engagement photos! Thats how much I am attached to this bike! Highlights - OEM frame was shortened by an incredible 8 inches!OEM euro rad covers & the underbelly fairing which is next to impossible to find!luftmeister exhaust really brings out the wonderful sound of the engine, and it just roars past 4,000rpmHand crafted leather saddle with matching orange stitching7" hotrod style headlightCustom pastel grey with orange detailing throughout entire bikeBrand new speedometer only reads 1,600km ! Actual mileage was confirmed by Shails BMW to be 61,000km (not miles!)Mechanically, this bike is in flawless running condition ! If your reading this ad, I don't need to tell you how bullet proof the engine & chassis is in the K100. This motorcycle still has a few hundred thousand miles left in her! I rode this bike from Vancouver, BC to Osoyoos and it didn't even break a sweat! The riding position is THAT comfortable! Especially with the custom seat. My only complaint is that it takes a couple cranks to get the bike starting on cold cold days, albeit, very normal considering it is almost 30 years old : )Tires Rear coil suspension& Battery were new from last year. All Fluids / tune ups / maintenance up to date! ll original owners manual included as well as a small pile of service receipts from previous owner ! I have the original factory folding Key, and I will also include two BMW blank keys. Please note that there is no horn on this bike. The previous owner thought the bike looked cleaner without the horn mounted on the body and I completely agree!
