I started this as a project, but marriage, a new son, and a new house have gotten in the way. I spent well over $3000 in parts, etc, and this will be a really nice car when completed, but I no longer have the time or space. My loss is your gain. Car has been garaged since I've owned it and is complete, minus carpet and rubber door and window seals. Too nice of a car to part out, but at this price, you could buy it for the parts alone. I was told when I bought the car that the miles were original and actual. From the condition of the car when I got it, I believe that to be accurate. Great car for restoration. Body and chassis are in good condition for the age. The car was Ziebarted when new and is the most rust free Z car I've seen outside the desert southwest. The only real rust on car was the driver's side floor (approx. 12"x18" has been cut out for repair) and rocker panel. Unibody and subframe are solid. Quarterpanels, fenders, strut towers, battery tray, rocker panels, doors, hood, hatch, roof and floors are all solid aside from the small area of driver's side floor and driver's side rocker mentioned. D.S. rocker panel has approximately 3"x6" area that needs cut and patched. A few other non structural places might need minor attention. All removable body panels are off the car. Most of the body has been stripped back to bare metal for a respray. Some body work was started. (Small patch welded into bottom of PS fender and some shallow dents filled) Hood, cowl and right front fender have been primed with PPG self-etching primer. All glass is good, including windshield and backlight with defrost. Dash has the typical Z car cracks and needs covered, and is by far the worst part on the car. The rest of the interior, body and drive train are in really good shape. New upholstery for the seats. Driver's seat has been re-covered, but still needs heated and stretched to remove the wrinkles. Otherwise, interior is original and in good condition. One picture above shows the original headliner. It has some wrinkles from storage that will come out with sitting in the sun or heating with a hairdryer and shows the typical condition of the interior trim. No cracks or tears and foam backing is excellent. Everything else is good as well, just dusty from storage. The original spare tire, jack and tool kit are complete and in good condition. All the carpet padding/sound deadening material is present and in good condition, as well as the original wood for the cargo floor area. Stainless windshield trim shines and is complete, unbent and in good condition. New front brakes, clutch master and slave cylinders, etc. I didn't include pictures of every single part. Many of the smaller pieces of trim, lights, badges, seatbelts, etc. are already boxed up. It's all there and in good shape. Clear WV title in hand. Buyer is responsible for shipping. Car ran and drove when parked, but the clutch slave cylinder was bad. Fuel tank has since been drained and removed. All running gear is still in car. Rolls and steers. I will help with shipping as far as: boxing up parts, temporarily re-attaching doors, fenders, hood and hatch, and helping to load. I would recommend a closed trailer to prevent any parts from being lost if a box falls over, etc. Most bolts are in baggies attached to the part they hold on, or in the original threaded bolt holes. I WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY PARTS OR FASTENERS LOST, STOLEN, BROKEN OR OTHERWISE MISPLACED OR DAMAGED IN TRANSIT!!!!! This car is for sale, complete, but disassembled. AS-IS, Where-is.
