1958 Corvette Fuel Injected Convertible Signet Red exterior with White coves, Red vinyl interior, White convertible top. Features include Wonderbar AM radio, heater, courtesy light, windshield washers. Originally assembled on May 21, 1958, this 1958 Corvette Fuelie shows just 20,990 documented original miles, is FRESH from an extensive BODY-OFF restoration, and is ready to show. Having had the same owner from 1977-2013, this car's paint is new, with a beautiful, mile-deep shine. Convertible top is new. Chrome bumpers show a new finish, and are exc, as is the weatherstripping, stainless trim, taillights, wheels, and correct appearing hubcaps. Headlights are correct T3 units. Firestone Deluxe Champion wide whitewall bias-ply tires are new and show full tread depth remaining. The interior of this 1958 Corvette Fuelie shows new seat covers, door panels, dash pads, and carpet, all of which are exc. A reproduction Wonderbar radio is present, and functional. Gauges are vg with no fading and good lenses. The engine in this car shows correct casting number 3737739, original casting date December 12, 1957, and final assembly date December 17, 1957. Correct late production fuel injection unit, valve covers, ignition shielding, exhaust manifolds, hoses, and hose clamps are all in place. Engine compartment is super clean, correct, and nicely detailed, as is the frame, which is solid, and still restoration fresh. This car has been fully serviced, and all instrument gauges, lights, turn signals, brakes, engine, transmission and rear-end are all in good operating condition.
