I have had this car on Ebay before and removed it. Just couldn't part with it. My time constraints tell me I need to sell it (I think I drove it around town 6 times last year). So here it is again. I really want this car to go to a good home so I will reimburse up to $500 travel expense for you to come see it. If you see it up close you will appreciate how much work has gone into it. It was restored over an eight year period completed in 2008 and only driven sparingly since then. This was a frame and every nut and bolt off restoration. Both floor pans and trunk pan were professionally replaced (they weren't too bad but now they are perfect). Frame and undercarriage parts painted with epoxy paint; steel mechanical parts zinc plated then painted. Improvements from original include: rack and pinion steering complete with custom rotary contacts to allow original horn and turn signal switches to be retained (most rack and pinion conversions require toggle switches for horn and turn signals); electronic ignition; aluminum radiator and electric fan; stainless steel exhaust; 87mm pistons; modern cam profile (not a race cam, just a clean running cam built to modern standards). New shocks/springs, every worn part replaced; new upholstery/carpet. New tires were installed last month. It is the TR3B which is the most desired model since it has the TR4 engine and full syncro-mesh transmission. The individual letters that spell TRIUMPH are not on the front apron and I was told that some of the later cars did not have them. During restoration, there was no sign of welding or filler where they might have been. Still needs windshield wiper and convertible top installed. Parts included.
