Up for auction is a 1961 CJ5 with NO RESERVE! This is a pretty decent little Jeep. That could be used for weekend fun, on the farm, on the trail or for a restoration project. It runs and drives great as is. Drives straight with updated steering. Some of the specifics: 134 F Head Hurricane engine. Recent tune up, carburetor rebuild and valve adjustment. Runs great. T98 4 speed with granny low first gear. We're not sure if this was factory installed T98 or not. The T98 was available as an factory option on some Jeeps the T90 3 speed was the standard. Fresh gear oil change. T18 Transfer Case. Fresh gear oil change. Dana 25 Front Axle with Warn Lockouts. Fresh gear oil change. Dana 44 Rear Axle with Lock-Rite insertable locker. Fresh gear oil change. Rancho Lift Springs and Shocks with Conn-fer extended shackles. Cross over steering with Saginaw steering box. BFGoodrich Mud Terrain 33 x 9.50 x 15 tires on chrome spoke wheels. These have almost full tread depth but have some weather checking between the tread. A spare is also included and is a brand new BFG of the same size/style on a plain steel rim. The body has had some previous body work done. Presentable as a driver but would require some TLC to be nice. Some of the floor reinforcements are a little rusty. Includes a newer Bestop bikini top, soft half doors and 4 pt roll bar. Seats are newer Bestop High Back Buckets. New 3 spoke Grant steering wheel. Has a clear Colorado rebuilt from salavage title. Can't see that it has ever had any frame damage or major body damage, and it does drive nice an straight especially considering it is 53 years old. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
