1962 Chevrolet Pickup C20 (not C10) 3/4 ton longbed with V8 and 4sp in Tucson AZ, Truck runs and drives. Just had all new brakes put on - new master cylinder, new wheel cylinders on all wheels, new brake shoes on all 4 wheels and new springs. The emergency/parking brake works perfect and is the type that stops the driveshaft as opposed to the rear wheels. The GOOD: Runs and drives great. New brakes. All fluids checked and just had fresh oil change. Starts up the first time. Has had aftermarket gauges added - Tach, Oil, Ammeter, Water temp. The BAD: Need tires (at least front tires - they have lots of tread but are 15yrs old - rear tires are newer), Speedometer/odometer does not work - could be cable. Has rust on bottom of front fenders but bottom of truck is clean. I only have the ignition keys - do not have door key. Windshield glass has a crack in it. REVISION: I played with the headlight circuit and turns out the headlights were not working due to the floor highbeam switch being stuck. Headlights now work. High beam switch may have to be replaced but low beams work. Truck is sold where is/as is. Buyer pays for shipping from Tucson, AZ but I will be available to help load.
