2011 BMW 1200GS with little over 17,700 highway miles. This machine was owned by an executive of BMW North America and he had several nice add ons like LCD turn signals, high intensity fog lights, heel shields, engine skid plate, cylinder head guards and 12 volt recepticle. I added the GPS mount and the Corbin seat and back rest. It has heated grips that came stock. I have the stock seat and passenger seat that go with the bike. The bike is extremely smooth and fast. The cornering in the twisties is beyond belief and the motorcycle is a joy to ride. Tires are near perfect condition and brakes are excellant as well. The bike has never been dropped. There are very very minor marks like on the rear luggage case on the black plastic that will likely rub off. Other than that the bike is extremely pristine. I own 13 motorcycles now from old school Triumphs and dirt bikes to Street Bob and Ultra Classic Harley's (but I am not a dealer). I bought a new Harley Limited for a 4000 mile trip across the country and back. I have run out of room to garage them. For anyone who has never ridden a BMW motorcycle especially a GS or GSA you cannot appreciate a well engineered and fun bike to ride. I'm 62 and need a bit more comfort for 4000 miles round trip in 10 days. I am setting a reasonably low starting number for this auction.
