1997 Ford F250 7.3L Diesel POWERSTROKE SMOG EXEMPT!!! 180k miles!!! This is a 1997 Ford F250 with the legendary 7.3L diesel engine mated with the automatic transmission. It was previously owned by an elderly lady that was nearly ninety. She no longer drove it and I traded my SUV for it as a present for her grandson and his new family. This truck is in immaculate condition, I have not seen one in this condition for a very long time. This truck fires right up without smoking or an extended cranking time. The transmission is nice and tight, it shifts firmly as it should with no slippage or other issues. The truck is all stock without a chip, exhaust, or anything like that. This truck has power windows, locks, cruise control, and dual fuel tanks. The only aftermarket parts are the camper shell, floor mats, and step bars. The engine is very powerful and surprisingly isn't leaking oil all over which is shocking in itself. The engine was not degreased and shined for the pictures, this is how it actually looks! The brakes are in good shape, the tires have approximately 70% of remaining tread. The wheels are the factory Aloca's which were only available on the fully loaded model, as you can see in the pictures one of the center caps are missing. The truck has only the factory hitch, no gooseneck or 5th wheel. It also does not have a trailer brake controller which leads me to believe that this has never towed anything heavy. The exterior is in great shape, all of the panels and paint are original with the exception of the camper shell. The headlights are in good shape but do have slight discoloring because of their age. The bumpers are in great condition, all of the chrome on the pickup shines very well. The truck does have a couple minor dents, please see pictures for details. The clear coat on the camper shell is discolored on the top and starting to go bad above the windows. The paint on the truck itself is actually in perfect condition. The camper shell is missing the rear window/door as you can see. Inside of the bed does have the normal scratches from use but is not dented, gouged, or beat up. All of the glass on the truck is in great shape, the windshield is still the same one from when it was new! The interior of the truck is in great shape, no tears, holes, or sagging headliner here! The truck has power windows and locks which all work great! The heater is hot and A/C is ICE COLD! The truck has the stock tape player in it which works well. The lumbar button broke off of the plastic piece it sits on but it still works. All of the interior and exterior lighting work aside from the main dome light inside doesn't turn on, I believe the bulb is burnt out. The gauges all work well. All in all this is an absolutely beautiful pickup that will last for several hundreds of thousands of miles, 180k miles is NOTHING for these trucks! If I didn't already have two fully customized F350's with 7.3L's in them I'd keep this one! Between both of my other trucks they have nearly 700k miles and both still run awesome!
