I purchased this car at Michael Chev (defunct) in Brea, Ca. on 10/04/1979@ 10k miles guy traded in for an 80. motor was replaced w/ g.m. crate at around 45k # 4 ROD MADE A SMALL WINDOW IN BLOCK/trans rebuilt at around 60k & diff .side bearings at 70k orig panels ,got bumped at r/r corner at my old shop, cracked about 4 in. of bond seam at that time sanded down smooth as could be -25 yrs ago, A near perfect 5k job. She looks real good ,not perfect but better than most. frame is clean tires are 20 years old heater core started leaking recently , I can replace if nec. & a/c isn't cold, parking handle slid off too. Just took her to my shop & replaced trans. fluid/ diff. fluid/ coolant & lof.& battery, and ran 4 bottles of brake fluid to bleed brakes ,stainless linedcalipers .I have a copy of purchace & loan docs. when I bought avail to new owner . A family member through 30 + other vettes Z06s& 5ZR1s just a nice car ,if you want a nice 79 CORVETTE & know any thing about them this one has its issues ,but is not a beat up piece of ......
