Vehicle Detail
This is a shining example of the classic piece of history that is a GB500. The paint is exceptionally clean, the stock exhaust/ muffler is unscathed, the bike has zero road rash or damage of that nature. The only things on it that aren't original are the bar end mirror, and small turn signals but I will include the original parts in great shape. The small "HONDA" plastic trim piece that covers the brake line right below the headlight isn't mounted right now. I have it too but the plastic has a broken mount that needs fixed before putting back on. There is some electrical tape securing the rubber part of the foot pegs, I've never taken it off to see if it is doing anything or perhaps the PO just put it on there as a precaution. The bike has like new tires, brakes, and battery. Just had the fuel system cleaned and put ethanol free gas in it. New vacuum lines and fuel lines/ inline fuel filter, and oil. K&N cone filter is installed and I don't have the original air box. The bike starts first kick or push of the button and purrs like a kitten. Charging system was checked and is working perfectly. All the lights and horn work as they should. Only the rear brake trips the brake light switch currently, that may be factory I'm not sure. The tank had something heavy fall on it before I owned the bike and it put a dent on the right side, and there is a very shallow dimple on the front left side that is difficult to notice. Other than those blemishes the bike is flawless. Doesn't leak or burn a drop of oil. The seat is free of tears and damage although the vinyl is getting visibly worn (slightly lighter color in the center). I'll try to get accurate pics of all these details. Over all this bike is stellar and will only continue to go up in value! Perfect for the collector or enthusiast. ** UPDATE** contact me about delivery! I will likely deliver it to you for $500 plus the cost of gas @ 20mpg. You can calculate what that will cost depending on your location. I'm in Fayetteville, AR and don't mind driving across the country...I love a good road trip!On Feb-26-14 at 09:51:44 PST, seller added the following information: Added a clearer photo of the other side of the bike.
