Up for auction is a "Mechanic's Special" 540i 4.4L V8 BMW with 132,050 miles on it. The vehicle runs and drives but is in need of some maintenance/ repair work. All above mentioned items are recommended to be done by hte new owner. Along with the possibility of needing tires shortly, air/engine air filters, Position Sensor O ring, a very minor camshaft leak from drivers side, and Vanos Solenoid Gaskets Left and Right. While your in there, do the plugs and wires as well. Ok, so what is the good news? It's a bimmer! Short throw shifter, great V8 engine, rear wheel drive sport feel, and a great color combination. Interior is in decent shape for the miles and age.
