1964 Lancia Flaminia Pinifarina 2.8 Coupe Red with tan interior. Listing car for a friend, he purchased the car in the spring of 2013. Car did not run right, there was water in one cylinder, mechanic thought it might be a head gasket, they took the head off and replaced the head gasket and did some additional work but water is still coming into the cylinder. Now it is suspected the block is cracked. Car shows nicely with a good straight body, nice interior and clean underneath. He has had the car running before it was taken apart and he did drive it a very short distance so it did run and the transmission works the car will also need brakes. Car is back together and it can be started but only run for a very short time. Once you fix the motor, you would have a nice driver quality car. Also included in the auction is a complete 1961 Flaminia Coupe that is complete but needs restoration which you could use as a parts car. The serial number of that car is: 823001028.
