Vehicle Detail
Sale fell through so re_listing this 1977 Porsche 911S. This car is a complete 911 with no motor or trans. As far as condition goes I would say it is an eight with regards to it's age. It has zero rust and never has. Steel rear SC flairs done by professional body shop when the paint was done. Paint has a few chips here and there as it was our driver for a long time. We have a '77 3.0 Turbo motor that is almost done being re-built. After completion we will list it also. At the bottom of this page we will had the items replaced or that need attention. If someone needs an additional photo of certain area please ask. Our number is 9517335592 if any questions need a immediate attention. We will add to the posting shortly and the current ID#. 9117 202 504 On Jan-31-14 at 15:32:10 PST, seller added the following information: The items below were completed roughly 8-10 years ago when we first made it road worthy. It has been sitting in a inclosed garage since then. To many projects not enough time. The car was used for about 5K miles while in the process of the rebuild and mods. At the time we installed the'77 3.0 Turbo motor and trans. Here is a list of partially what we did and all of which are included in the sale. Suspension upgrades as far as brakes go, all new four drilled rotors, pads, 930 master cylinder and braided lines were purchased from Bill Troutman. Polished 951 calipers on front with the stock rebuilds in the rear. The thing stops incredibly well. All lines flushed and super blue fluids were used. Front wheel bearings and races are new along with the rear trailing arm outer bearings with new inner bushings. New Koni sport struts and rear Boge shocks were added along with '89 930 rear torsion and front and rear sway bars. New rear drop links will also go with the car. The front wheels are 7 x 16 Fuchs with about 60% thread remaining. The rear 8x16 are not real fuchs but have the SC offset. Tires are 25% remaining. All will include the original lug nuts. A new 930 clutch cable and pedal assembly was re-bushing. Since the turbo motor was used it has a new Bosch front fuel pump added with a working rear installed. It has a 930 oil tank so if you plan on changing it back to N/A you will have to cap the turbo feed line. Regardless if you use the stock CDI ignition or a MSD 6BTM as we did it is wired for both. It still has the original a/c lines from front to back but does not have oil cooler lines or stat included. If needed let us know. Along with the tail we are including the stock exterior parts such as deck lid, front valence, fog lights (good glass) and rubber apron. Wipers as well as the rear parts such as bumper extensions, guards, and weather strips. All are in excellent condition picked out by me personally. The stereo system is not included with the sale but if you want/need it let us know. It plays incredible. The sun roof operates fine but has a deflector piece missing. I will find it by the time it sells. Windows, mirrors and door door locks and key works as it should. No alarm system. Interior has the highest quality automotive carpet money can buy with Dynamat installed throughout. The rear seat backs and the dash sucks. The Recaro seats I had custom done with real sheep skins as upholstery. Non-electric. Momo wheel and shift knob. New center console back included. Also has one gauge with a cracked lense. I will try and fix prior to delivery. New original Porsche yellow seat belts with none in the rear. If there is anything the buyer wants on top of whats included, let us know. We have everything Porsche or know where to get it. If we could have located a 930 transaxle we would keep the car and install the new turbo motor in it. It was a blast to drive. The reserve is set high as far as I am concerned because all it would take is a person with a motor and trans sitting around and they have a 'Bad' Porsche by the end of the weekend. But as most people go, we are always open to offers depending on your particular needs go. Thank you very much for looking at our post. I suck at pictures! Or to cheap to buy a good camera. I hate when people use there 'paid for' stuff when they are selling it but that's all I have to compair it to. When we had the bodywork and paint done it cost just under $7500. I know its nothing compaired to today's standards but at that time it was a 'bad' paint job. Now since its listing as I have put the car back to a 'whole' car meaning the few parts that were not pictured are pretty much all there now. We rubbed the car out again and it looks like it did when painted. The dude that did the work worked for Bob Anziano in Tustin cal. That's why it still looks so good. And being garaged for so long. This was painted when base coat/clear coat just came out and I do have a qt of base that will go with the car. On top othat a teaspoon of plat pearl with first coat of clear is all that you need. When putting it together the past few days if I saw a part that was not up to my standards I took it off and put another decent one on. And at the time of delivery, if you are not happy (just like all our auctions) no problem. I will replace it for youi. We have a few of pretty much everything. Last, the reserve is real close to the bid right now. Andthe car is listed local so we reserve the right to end the auction early. I hate to do that but if the money is there, well, that's the only reason we are selling it. That is as honest as I can be and not sound like a total moron. We totally appreciate all the interest.
