I received this car in trade for a car I had. I do not have much information on the history because the car changed hands twice since it was purchased from the estate of the owner. This car appears to have just 36,915 miles on it as shown on the odometer and based upon the overall condition which you can see in the pictures. The air-conditioning system is compete and functional except no refrigerant. The air-conditioning will need to be converted to 134A and charged to cool. Interior, the carpet on the driver side is damaged beyond repair. The top of the back seat and package tray are sun bleached and has tears in it from the sun exposure. Exterior, side glass in this car is laminated flat glass. The passenger side front and rear door windows have cracks but are still solid and work fine for a driver. The factory vinyl top will need to be replaced. There are bubbles under it on the back above the rear glass. Bubbles under these vinyl tops is pretty common but there does not appear to by any rust through. The previous owner had the car re-painted in the 80s. The paint is the original color and is okay but they only taped the car off to shoot it. Some of the weatherstrip has overspray on it. The driver and passenger door mirror glass will need to be replaced. This was the final year for Studebaker. This car was manufactured in Canada using a General Motors power pack 283 engine and automatic transmission. Studebaker was ahead of it’s time in many respects. This car has dual caliper front disc brakes, power brakes, power steering, and air-conditioning. Tires are very good. Original wheel covers. Car is registered with current tags, clear Texas title. It runs and drives but has not been serviced in how many decades? I will be asked by someone, Can I buy it and drive it back? Not a good idea to drive a barn find from Texas to wherever dude. Have it transported because this car is 48 years old. This is an interesting car that will not be expensive to buy or own. It is unique and a true surviver. If you have questions please ask.
