Matching numbers 1973 Trident with a clear Texas title in our name. This motor is stuck, it will not turn over with the kickstart. The problem could lie in the gearbox, but we have never looked into it. It is best to assume that this motor will need a full on rebuild down to the crankshaft. We have had this one for a while, and we were planing on restoring it; but that never happened. It is a good bike for a restoration, since most everything is there. I do not know if the indicated 50xxx miles is correct or not. We took tho in on trade for some restoration work and have been sitting on this bike for five or so years. It needs the carburetors, carburetor linkage, side cover, and side stand. The rest of it is here and mostly assembled. There are no additional parts to go with this. The bike you see pictured, is the bike you will receive should you place the winning bid. The gas tank is in good shape, with no dents. This is pretty straight forward resto project. This is non-running vintage motorcycle. It is sold as is. There is no warranty expressed nor implied.
