It was then discovered on the 356 Registry talk list and resurrected. It went to a new owner in Bend, Oregon, where it underwent a complete restoration in 2004. The car includes 2 binders full of documents, starting with the original invoice, driver's manual, service booklet with plastic holder, Certificate of Authenticity, articles and pictures of the car along its 43-year, 140,000 journey through the hands of 6 owners.
