Up for your consideration is a 2003 BMW 325it. I have loved this car for many years but it is time for it to live a less active life. After 320 thousand wonderful miles I just do not know how to get the service light off. I believe it may be the catalytic converts.This car comes complete with a full service history, BMW carpeted floor mats, fresh Michelin V-Rated Primacy MX4s ($650) and new brakes and rotors all around including E-brake ($800)! It has been almost exclusively dealer maintained it's entire life, save for the very small amount of work I have been able to do myself, such as frequent oil changes. Recently the service light came on and I replaced all 4 O2 sensors ($500). This did not turn the light off. My job is driving and at this time, I could not chase the codes any further. Other then the light, the only other non cosmetic problem is the interior blower fan occasionally cuts out for a few minutes, but comes back on after its break is over. It does burn some oil, but the BMW dealer told me it was normal for this engine. Of course with this many miles, I am sure there are other imperfections, but mostly cosmetic, the rear bumper is slightly damaged and there is a small scrape on the front bumper. Although it does have high miles, most of them were highway, this car has been as far west as Arizona and from the shores of Boston, all the way down to the depths of Florida! I have no doubt that the 5 speed manual transmission is part of the reason this car is still running. Throughout its history numerous key components have been replaced such as the radiator, drive-shaft, AC compressor and fuel pump to help ensure it will continue to ride for many miles to come. It has been freshly detailed and you will love it as soon as you sit in it. It needs a good home with someone who can work on it and avoid the high dealer costs. The car rides great and still feels tight. It is a real pleasure to be in!This car is available to test drive or examine in Wayne, PA near the King of Prussia Mall. These still sell at dealers for over $10,000! The wagons are hard to find and are usually much more beat up with rust.
