We found this truck in a barn ,it had been partially restored probably about 35 years ago ,the motor runs ,transmission feels good ,need brakes. The horn ,headlights ,work properly.This truck appears to have had some minor body work in the lower part of the doors. the cab corners are very solid as well as the fender tips and the step panels.As you can see the floor is very clean and rust free. it's hard to see in the photo ,but the under side of the dash is very nice,all the cables ,wiring,and gauges are very nice.I am not representing this truck as a running /driving truck, but it would take very little work to get it in that condition. This is the most solid 55-59 gm truck that I have found in over 20 years of searching for these trucks. the bed steps are missing, the seat is in the bed of the truck, it has been disassembled. The odometer shows only 13867 , I doubt is has turned over! After further research, I have confirmed the this truck is a gm factory produced "Fleet Option" truck. All of the body panels and trim have not been added or changed, yet came on this truck as you see them. Hood,hood emblem,grille,bumpers , all came from GM. Picture # 2 was the day that it was pulled out of storage, before any cleaning was done.
