Very original 1978 Toyota Land Cruiser  FJ 40.        I bought this truck several years ago from the original owner hoping to fully restore it.  It's been in storage ever since so I've decided to let someone else get to it.   Very little on it is not original equipment.  Engine, drive train, sheet metal and interior are all believed to be genuine OEM. Even the working Warn winch was included at dealer delivery. I believe only the exhaust manifold, tach, radio, cb antenna and rear bumper were added. She does need a full restoration and has some rust issues that I intended to patch with available replacements. It's a great place to start! The engine starts ups reliably and has good oil pressure, doesn't knock and doesn't leak or burn oil but does have an exhaust header leak. All glass is good but the windshield does have a couple of what appear to be bb gun hits. doesn't leak so wasn't planning to change it out. Drivers side bucket seat cover is shot. The worst of the rust is located in the rear door sill floor area. Doors are good with little rust on the bottoms.  Other rust is obvious in the pictures except that the rear quarters and wheelhouses have some rust thru holes that don't show well. Theres a small hole in drivers floor also. I've rebuilt all the brakes including new master cylinder and brake cylinders in rear and right front caliper. Only the drivers side front disc has not been renewed.  Working good.  Has a new clutch slave cylinder as well. New BFG All Terrains just installed up front.  I've driven it around a little lately and all seems well. Trans shifts smoothly. Steering is good. Stops well.   Odometer shows 68xxx but I don't know what the actual is, surely more.  Original dealer delivery invoice and other documents are included as well as the original warranty card and owners manual.
