Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is my 67 Convertible. **NO RESERVE** Rare “O” code Coronado Gold, “special option color” spring of 1967 only. Presumed by PHS to only have made 40 gold on gold convertibles in '67 with maybe 7 left in existence. Very rare fold down seat option Deluxe interior option Rare power top option for 1967 All original, numbers matching 326 V8 Convertible Full PHS Documentation, clear title in hand. Here's what it needs: Add the mechanical things I already purchased listed above, a new top ($285) and a new interior ($995 Firebird Central)You then have a great car with minimal work worth 25K. Also solid candidate for full restoration if you want a 45K car based on it's options and rarity.Yes, it needs a little taking care of, it's 47 years old. runs and drives. Over $700 of new parts in boxes included. Lights work.New parts include:Gas Tank * Fuel tank sending unit * Aluminum Radiator * Headers * Gas Shocks * Ignition Coil * Platinum Spark plugs * Flex-fan * T-3 Headlights Wife's health forcing sale, keeping my 68 and 69.Please email with any questions. To clarify, the items listed that are new aren't necessary (I have an extra gas tank so it goes with it). It runs smooth but would go through it with a tune-up, change fluids, etc. Tires are great and wheels are too. I'd like to add a few descriptive items based on all the emails from the weekend: Body: All panels were replaced about 12 years ago by the second owner on a partial restoration. Fenders, quarters replaced. The body is very straight and panels line up well. There is one re-paint on the car at that time. It is fair. Rust: There is no body rust with the exception on the rear valance where the license pate frame must have caught water in the lower right where the license plate goes. With a license plate on it, you can't see it. The underside is fairly clean. nothing rusted through. No rust on the rails or inside door jambs. There is some minor rust on the surface of the underneath here and there. The trans pan needs a gasket replaced, but I would do lots of engine things to make it tight. Fires right up, no smoke, engines runs clean. The car is mostly what it is now, #'s matching 326 convertible. I was going to keep it since I have a 68 and 69. If you want to do a full restoration, yes replace the floor pans, interior, top and repaint. If you are trying to steal it to "fix it up" and flip it, it may not be for you. For the end-user who wants a clean history and a rare 1st year bird, this is for you. make it a driver or show. The pricing is very fair as a condition 1-2 car at Haggerty runs between 11 and 19K. Just the coding, color combo and that fact that it runs well, has low mileage and is ready to go, it's easily worth the 15.
