The hatchback design looks great! If you know about tdi then you know that the 1.9l diesel engine in this golf is one of the best engines made! They get amazing gas mileage and are extremely reliable. This golf starts right up and runs great however the transmission does slip. I do not know if it needs fluid or flushed or even repaired because I never looked into it. It is drivable if you would like to drive home I wouldn't see why you couldn't drive it anywhere. The turbo works great everything else mechanically is great and the timing belt was just done 20 thousand miles ago. This golf was well kept considering the mileage and age and still has a great look. The lever under the hood for the latch is broke but you can still open hood and there is a crack on the windshield but over all good shape.
