1962 Volkswagen Beetle Wolfsburg edition restoration project. Revised this listing because of the many inquires on specific information about this car. The original paint was sanded off with an 80 grit DA due to paint had deteriorated through the primer exposing areas of bare metal, also to straighten and metal finish the entire car. No chemical stripper used. No hidden surprises on this car. Interior and jambs retain the original black finish and in good condition. This car has been kept in a climate controlled shop. Started periodically and moved. Car has been converted to 12 volt system. 1200cc motor with 009 distributor. Interior is original and seats are mint! Odometer reads 63907 miles. VIN# 4755736. This car does run and is driveable, but now no brakes. Brake fluid leaked from reservoir to master cylinder. I have not checked source of leak. Comes with extra parts, right front and right rear fenders, NOS rear floor pans. Clear Title. Would make a great restoration project. Thanks for looking.
