Im moving and have to sell my project jeep. Not much of a project anymore, Just needs a GM large flywheel to run. I have the driveshafts cut and welded to length to make it move under its own power but dana 27's need to be replaced with something sturdier to handle the power of the engine. ive verified the engine runs and have the dyno charts to show it, ill post pictures of those and the interior and under body the 27th. 1969 Jeep CJ5, original with the Kaiser V6 but i replaced it with a 74 4 bolt main 383 stroker corvette powerplantThe Engine- Lunati Stroker kit, http://www.lunatipower.com/Product.aspx?id=322&gid=185, GM fastburn heads http://www.gmpartsdirect.com/results.cfm?partnumber=12464298, ported and matched to intake, Holley 650 double carb, MSD distributor, crane cams ignition, comp roller rockers, hydraulic lifters, dyno tuned to 400 HP and 450ft lbs of torque, New main and rod bearings, aluminum intake single plane intake. block hugger headers, serpentine belt conversion, ATI Fluidamper, I have $5000 in the engine but its worth more by now with the work ive put into it, its a great runner! Just want the motor? bid to win and ill pull it, crate it and ship it, then you can choose what to do with the jeep scrap/resell here. Feel free to ask any questions. ALWAYS synthetic used in this motor before it was placed in the jeep. has about 5 k on the motor itself. im unsure of the cam i was never able to degree it.The JeepMostly stock, has the soft top on it currently, also has a bikini top for the summer, full soft doors included. Front bumper currently removed for engine install. Shift linkage disconnected and the brakes will need bled. Clearance needs too be made for the shift and transfer case lever then they can be connected. All the removal bolt of previous parts and extras from swapping will be included.- complete painless wiring bought and installed, ignition is wired to start only the gauges need connected, lights already wired needs connected to the turn switch and light switch. full set of diagrams and instructions included. needs ignition switch, wiper switch and light switch replaced.- biggest aluminum radiator i could fit, has 2 electric fans, still room for a pusher if needed. - Advanced Adapters plate to mount the jeep drivetrain to the SBC, 3 speed trans jeep dana 20 transfer case currently attached, will do fine with the jeep as a driver or mild trail jeep.- fiberglass fenders with a crack on the corner, 6" long.- solid frame, some rust thru the front floor pans, patched with fiberglass, bought that way. NEW TIRES- its a jeep and its old, parts are redily available in store or online. not alot to it, i have the driveshafts cut and welded to length, needs the new u joints installed and balanced. i was going to put dana 44's in it so wasnt concerned about the axles survivability or drivability now, their enough to get it moving and driving. LR brake drum disassembled last weekend to do pinion bearings, needs re assembled. New master cylinder, front lines replaced. all brake lines solid. jeep to sbc motor mount kit installed from JEGS, no ugly motor rigging. it was my project jeep, no shortcuts taken, its a hell of a deal, i cant take it with me and i need the money to make the trip. really i cant list everything ive done to it over 2 years since i cant remember it all. Reserve is set at 2000, i had previously listed the motor itself on ebay at one time and it sold for 2200 but it was less than my reserve so i declined it. now its in a rolling chassis so i hope for the best!On Dec-27-13 at 19:15:03 PST, seller added the following information: Pictures Updated! ebays kinda funny about removing current pictures and editing the current description after bidding has started. so ill update The Jeep- i learned that it is a 2 piece axle dana 44 in the rear. but it has an offset pumpkin and the axles are normally swapped out for 1 piece anyways so personally id put in matching 44's front and rear. You can see the frame is dirty but hammer solid! the floor pans are on their way out tho. the interior is the same as when i bought it, i believe the big round hole and square hole were for a radio and speaker, i never saw a model with a tach that large. There are spots of rust on the jeep, its 45 years old and i wasnt in the market of restoration body work at the time. the front fenders are steel with some fiberglass love from the previous owner- fooled me, my apologies. And i was rewrapping the wiring harness in conduit when i stopped, thats why it looks scattered, the kit was set up for a right side alternator. EXTRAS- Shown in the photos of items scattered on the ground - Full Top pretty clean, right rear zipper tore putting it on in the winter, a mistake apparently. , GM starter, weld on exhaust flanges, passenger mirror, extra friction plate, half doors (top bracket incorrect for this jeep but you can have'm), Transmission input shaft housing, front bumper, box of bolts from teardown, engine removal and transmission swap, driveshafts, magnetic bowl with u joint bolts and clutch cable linkage mount, oil filter relocation kit with cooler, gear oil, 1 qt amsoil, emergency brake cable( wrong transmission but goes with jeep), Moroso plug wire retainers, NIB rearview mirror, extra engine dipstick, brake clutch and shifter knob rubbers NIB, master cylinder cover NIB, vacuum and fuel line, flex exhaust to get it down the street to the muffler shop for a real setup, 2 thrush mufflers NIB.On Dec-28-13 at 09:40:18 PST, seller added the following information: Engine was dyno tuned at the University of Northwestern Ohio, same place where Jegs engine masters challenge takes place.
