Hello! Up for sale I have: A teal colored 1993 Toyota Celica GT with 160,800 miles. The vehicle report is incorrect due to the transposition of numbers at the DMV. The actual odometer reads 160,800. The maintenance records are available, a bit crude but impressive. This is a 5-speed manual and has all kinds of pep! The engine is strong and well supported by the tranny and drive-train. All P/W and locks, A/C all work great. All signals, lights, etc. work. The radio is a Sony with CD, and input for MP3. Issues: Needs a paint job and minor body work. The motorized, sliding sun roof needs a new motor. Junk yard part, simple fix, depends if you want it to work. There is an oil leak at the water pump housing/cover. Tightened the bolts and it stopped for a while, and then resumed but leaking less. Suggest replace gasket or torque all bolts properly, oil pan as well while your in there. Passenger side front shock needs new bushing due to shock rattling when running over bumps, etc. Needs a paint job due to massive fading of trunk, top, and hood. Your Vehicle Checks Out! On Dec-14-13 at 09:41:58 PST, seller added the following information: I would also like to say the car was for auction, and stopped running while bidding was alive in that auction here on eBay. I then started it at a lower price, and was offered a "Buy It Now" for $475.00. The buyer had difficulty locating funds, so then back up AS IS and was alive at the starting bid of $449.00. But I actually traced down the wiring problem, and canceled that bid of $449 today, starting this new and final auction (it will not leave my shop under ANY circumstances). The problem was an ignition coil wire. A tiny thing inside the distributor (under the cap and ignition coil plastic cover) that is the HOT wire to the AM2 30A H-Fuse underhood that was blown as a result. The end result was a "No spark". I was looking at too large a problem. End result: A fine sports car that plasters itself to the road because of the lowering aftermarket shocks (about an inch, takes same stock shocks). So smooth is the ride at 120 M.P.H. even with that shock like it is. Amazing! My other two A/T with O/D would only top out at around 110. So, you can see the numbers would be a huge difference across that board. It always felt like the engine was being robbed of power in instances. I blame it on the wire deteriorating with being rubbed by the rotor's round shaft at the base there and touching the housing therefore grounding out (I taped and tucked with cloth tape, if you plan on driving it home I will help you repair it like new in the shop here). But when it hit proper, it would raise your insides. The other two automatics? As M.C. Hammer would say: "Can't touch this!".
