We are a smoke-free, pet-free family so the car smells as good as it looks! Other features not listed above: Lockable roof rack (see picture), retractable luggage compartment cover, premium Michelin MXM4 Tires, in addition to the standard "balloon" spare, there is a full regular fifth tire just like the others. The loading area has a fitted cargo liner (a rubber shell to prevent spills from getting on the carpet.) Luggage net and built-in tie-downs. Rear seats fold down in two sections (2 and 1) to expand the cargo area. The anti-theft wheel bolts are an added security feature. All maintenance and service has been done by the dealer where I bought the car in 2005. Car has just been professionally detailed. The car is an amazingly smooth ride, and the seats are really luxurious. I can only recommend these heated seats. The car has great fuel efficiency: typically: on the interstate 36-40mpg, for short distance hops, high traffic in town 28mpg. This car will haul an amazing amount of stuff (weight) without affecting handling. For those who have a concern about diesel engines in very cold (sub-zero) climates, note that this diesel engine is equipped with a glow plug system. The warm-up time is indicated by a light.
