Those of you that know these, they know only 4153 were imported into the US. This particular combination (Black w/ red/black interior) only had 702 produced (only 564 of the 1999 model year). Review the owners forum http://www.vehicross.info/ to confirm this. I am selling because I need a 4 door pickup or I would keep her forever. This is a collectable so do not put any stock in what KBB tells you about its value. The condition is fair, mostly cosmetic (chipped paint on hood from highway driving). I use her as a daily driver and she is inspected until November of 2014. This is the sports car of the SUV world. The torque-on-demand system is the best in the business - I've pulled Jeeps out of the mud with this truck! The 3.5L V6 is a GM block, the same one they used in the Cadillac STS in the early 2000's producing 215HP. The goods: 1. Engine runs super-strong. Never any issues. Oil changed w/ synthetic since 100k. 2. Transmission shifts smooth, never any issues. 3. Torque-on-demand works perfectly, 4x4 engages smoothly. 4. Fixed both windows (famous problem with these). New vapor barriers installed in both after repairs. Replaced front speakers during window repairs. 5. New rotors & pads in rear. New caliper paint all around. 6. Tires at 90%. 7. Undercoated in spring 2013. 8. All cladding intact, cladding screws replaced w/ stainless steel hex heads. 9. Replaced license plate light mounting bracket with aluminum (famous problem with these vehicles). 10. Includes factory roof racks (often missing), mats & cargo net. 11. Rear door insert intact w/ factory red turn clips. Known issues (reason I am not asking $11,000): 1. Wheels are starting to show age (pitting & peeling). They are presentable but my next move was to powder coat them (around $85 each). 2. Hood paint. After the wheels, I wanted to get the paint repaired (approx. $500). As you can see from the photos, the paint is passable but it could be better. 3. Intermittently throws a P171 code. Probably the intake manifold gasket (replacement approximately $500) Does NOT effect drivability. 4. Intermittently throws an ABS light. Probably the front ABS sensors (most often the problem. (replacement approximately $300) Does NOT effect drivability. 5. Horn not operational. Power and switch are fine, horn element burned out. Never replaced. (replacement approximately $150) 6. Cassette & CD not operational, AM/FM is operational. Famous problem with these vehicles. (replacement approximately $300 dependent on quality of replacement head unit) 7. Small dent on front of hood, no paint damage at dent location. 7. Interior shows wear consistent with age and mileage. On Nov-28-13 at 07:35:53 PST, seller added the following information: Happy Thanksgiving! So it looks like my 11/26 update was terrible and hard to understand. I wanted to get some more photos up anyway so I'll repeat the information. I thought of a couple of other things as well. 1. The code is gone. The engine light is off. I fixed the P171 code by removing and cleaning the Mass Air Flow Sensor and reseating it. I installed a new clamp to replace a loose one. Has not thrown a code since and the monitors have all run. 2. I never mentioned that I replaced the EGR purge solenoid last year ( common issue in these). 3. Battery is newer (dated 7/11 w/ 3 year replacement warranty. Installed gold terminals w/ new batt) 4. Polished headlights. These vehicles are known for getting frosted lenses. Took my time to make them look great. 5. I never spoke of the tires. I would estimate them at 90%. I love these General Grabbers. Will definitely put them on my next vehicle. 5. Headlight gaskets are not installed. I have them and they will come with the vehicle but I never remounted them.
