This is a nice number matching 1981 Corvette. I am the third owner. I bought the car three years ago for $7,000.00. It has it's original 350 engine. I have put a lot of new parts on it. first I put new edelbrock gas shocks on the rear. I put a new Electronic Control Module (ECM) and Hypertech Power Chip and a new oxygen sensor in. A new rochester carburetor. A new EGR valve, EGR Vac switch new pcv valve, new vacuum hoses, new Vapor canister, new headlight acurators and relays. headlights do go up and down. I put a new 100 amp chrome alternator, new edelbrock high output aluminum water pump, new belts, new harmonic balancer for proper timimg. new high output distributor with a Hi-proformance ignition module, new spark plugs and wires. A new A/C compressor and dryer. A new hood release cable. The last owner put a new exhaust on it and new leather seats. They also put new brakes on it. It will need a new master cylinder soon. It brakes fine but you will have to add brake fluid every once and a while. I have tried to keep the car original. The car had been repainted about 10 years ago. It is the original color except the original car was a special addition two tone paint to celebrate the car being made in the new Corvette Plant in Bowling Green Kentucky. They only made 1,000 of these two tone cars. There is some touch up paint that needs to be done but the car is straight. I have put over two thousand dollars in parts in the car but I am willing to take what I paid for the car. So use the buy it now for $7,000 and get a nice car for a great price.
