Beautiful 2012 Golf TDI includes extra warranty: "Platinum" extended bumper-to-bumper (this cost me $2,000 from the dealer, goes to 100k mi and is fully transferable). Just got 30k mi service at the VW dealer. No issues whatsoever! Excellent commuter car; I bought it to commute from Washington, DC to Delaware twice a week for a year and got 45-50 mpg without trying (600 miles between fillups). Bluetooth, satellite radio, Monster rubber floor mats. Wheels upgraded to fuel-efficient, low-rolling-resistance 15" steel wheels; all-season tires; excellent tread. Super comfortable seats with adjustable lumbar. DSG transmission with Tiptronic steering wheel shift paddles. Media display syncs with iPhone. 60/40 Rear seats fold flat.
