My garage has filled up, so my baby must go. 1988 Jeep Grand Wagoneer. 4wd Baltic Blue metallic exterior, sand leather interior. 178,100 miles on body. Engine has been rebuilt. AMC 360 V8 with Edelbrock performance intake, Edelbrock 4 barrel carb, Edelbrock chrome open air cleaner, HEI ignition, high performance plug wires, Bosch plugs, new timing chain, all gaskets replaced, and aluminum radiator. All glass works! I bought this truck as a project, and now have nowhere to work on her, so she's got to go. I drive this truck regularly between Wilmington and Charleston, so I know she'll drive safe. Recent paint on entire exterior from Maaco, new weather stripping on all moving windows. Pioneer CD player, with 4 aftermarket speakers. New headliner. The air pump and air injector system for emissions has been removed for performance. New BFG All terrain tires. Comes with spares including front and rear axle, transmission, and transfer case. She does have normal jeep wear on seats, and could use some fresh carpet. I will order one from BJ's offroad at the end of the auction, and if buyer is not local, i will have shipped directly to them. This is a $20 part. I will be seeing if I can get it locally tomorrow. Hood will still open, you just need to use a set of pliers to pull cable. For anyone that is looking for a Jeep that just drove off the showroom floor, this is not it. This is a jeep that has been used and loved and is 25 years old. It has not had a frame off restoration. If you want that, call Wagonmasters and spend the $40,000. This is a Jeep that runs and drives good. I drove it to and from work all last year, and loaded the dogs up every weekend and drove an hour and a half each way to guide at the hunting preserve I work at here in NC. I've never had any problems. I now have no room in the garage, 2 more dogs, and went to something bigger, and she sat for about 6 months. I cannot take seeing her sit outside and not being driven, hence, passing her on to a new home. No, I will not tell you what the reserve is, but will say it is appropriate.
