Vehicle Detail

I have for sale a 1974 Chevrolet Stingray Corvette. The car is yelllow and the color tag states it was originally a yellow car as well. The car does not have the original motor, but does have a new rebuilt motor installed. The motor was a rebuilt short block from jasper with the crank machined .010. Rebuilt TH400 Trans. There is not frame or birdcage rot or damaging rust. The following parts are new: Summit Cast Vortec Heads Comp XE262H-10 Cam kit Summit 750cfm Carb Edelbrock RPM performer intake manifold DER-19317 Flex Fan Oil pressure Switch Coolant Temp Sensor PCV Moroso Breather Gas Tank and Sending Unit Chevrolet Performance Vortec Valve Covers Comp Cams Magnum Double Roller Timing Set Starter Accel Spark Plug Wires MSD Pro-Billet Tach Driven Distributor MSD Ignition box MSD Blast II Coil Pack New Tach cable New Aluminum Radiator Serpentine Belt Setup w/upgraded CS Alternator Rear U-Joints New Trans Cooler Lines New tubular headers New mufflers (forget the brand, but sounds deep and loud) Vacuum actuators for headlights Tires Hub Caps The car needs to be tuned, the hood needs to be painted, and the passenger side needs new carpet. I am selling the car due to the birth of my son. The cam was broken in properly with a basic distributor and smaller carb to be sure of proper break in. We then installed an MSD ignition box, MSD distributor, and a Summit 750 cfm carb. What I mean by being tuned is the Carb needs to be jetted, vacuum secondaries on the carb need to be adjusted (possible rod adjustment or may need a different diaphragm), floats need to be adjusted, msd distributor vacuum advanced springs need to be sized for the cam as do the counter weights on the distributor. Currently we set the initial timing at 10 on the low side to be safe, but the car needs to get on a dyno and tuned to be sure the motor is not running to lean or rich. The brakes feel firm and do stop the car well, I have not driven it hard, long, or far. I wanted to make sure the brakes worked and that the trans shifted properly, which they both do. I do have new brake pads and rotors for the front because they are low. I will also include them with the car.
