This motorcycle is becoming rare and collectable. It was stored in a collection for many years until 2 1/2 years ago. A mechanic rebuilt the carbs, put in a battery and changed all the fluids before starting it up. The bike ran great when I bought it and still does. I have replaced the entire exhaust system with NEW OEM pipes and mufflers (at a cost of $1300). The bike has been repainted (tank, side covers and fork tubes) with original color and tank decals were applied under clear coat. The engine was also repainted original color. I replaced tires and tubes with vintage original brand. The front brake caliper has just been rebuilt and a stainless steel braided brake line installed. The bike starts easily, runs strong and doesn't leak or smoke. All the electrical system including starter work perfectly. A battery tender lead is installed. The seat is good with no rips or tears. Although this bike is 40 years old, it is dependable enough to be a daily rider. I am only selling this bike to downsize my own collection and make room for a new touring bike. There are some minor flaws and some pitting on the original chrome pieces. While it is not a museum piece, this motorcycle is very original, looks great, runs great and should make its new owner very happy.
