Vehicle Detail
For sale is my 1991 VW 1.6 TD Jetta. It has served me well over the past 4 years but I now to thin out the herd before Mom will let me buy another one (not to mention we are running out of room in the driveway). I have upgraded the following items: * Genuine Recaro seats in Helios Blue. I also installed matching Helios carpet and door cards in very good condition. *1.6 Turbo Diesel engine with K14 turbo. Car was originally naturally aspirated. Much more fun now. *Giles Super pump from Performance Diesel Injection. Giles is the go to guy for VW pump rebuilding. This service alone ran $1100.00. Since installed, the car has only about 3K miles. *New injector hard and soft lines *New OEM injectors *OZ Alpina replica alloy wheels *Bilstein HD / Neuspeed sport cup kit. *Rare MK2 Eibach strut brace. *New VDO Boost and EGT gauges *Smoked E Code headlights with super bright H4 bulbs *New timing belt, thermostat, alternator, control arms, tie rod ends, steering rack, ball joints, swaybar end links, etc. *G12 coolant ONLY in brand new OEM coolant reservoir. Never any green coolant near my cars! *Passat dual slim radiator fans with new belt. *fan shroud, radiator core support, cross member, oil pan, G60 valve cover and many brackets have been powdercoated * NO stupid wiring hacks. All wiring was done with originality in mind. No butt splices and ugly parts store abominations. *New ABF alternator with clutched pulley and serpentine setup. *K&N air filter *Optima Red Top Battery *G60 power steering reservoir and bracket *Euro / Canadian tachometer instead of clock *rear disc brake conversion with new e brake cables. * front and rear brakes done about 10, 000 miles ago. *new fuel filter *new motor mounts Engine was originally a naturally aspirated unit. Was replaced with a 1V (Eco Diesel) that has had the pump converted to true turbo (fueling responds to boost). This was done approximately 3 thousand miles ago. No longer commute 130 miles a day so time to part ways with the road warrior. Any questions, feel free to ask. Thanks!
