1954 CHEVROLET SEDAN DELIVERY SPECIAL SERIES 1500A Rare year!!! According to the Classic Car Data Base only 8,255 units produced this year. Sounds like a lot, but remember this is a Chevy... This vehicle was predominately used for businesses with small delivery or pick up needs. This vehicle is almost 60 years old. How many do you think survived??? You will find 1951 Chevy Sedan Delivery's all over EBay & Craigslist, that's because Chevy produced 20,817 that year. More than double the 1954...VEHICLE INFORMATION: · Engine and transmission have been swapped to 350/350· Rear end has been changed to a late 70's Camaro · Steering column changed to a late model Camaro column( also comes with a spare tilt columnwith air bag steering wheel)· Vintage Cragar SS Performance Rims with / newer tires (no miles on tires)· Comes with two sets of bucket seats (one has electric base for driver seat)· Clear Title and current Ca registration· No license plates (plates are customized seller to retain)VEHICLE CONDITION (remember this is a restoration project): · Most of the body work has been done. Currently in primer and needs finish sanding, then it should be ready for paint (depending on level of restoration your doing).· No major rust issues. Some surface rust inside on roof, and the rear door has a hole in bottom rail of rear door. · Doors need to be adjusted before paint· Glass appears to be original (with a couple character buckshot holes in the corner of windshield and wing window). · Needs door panels, headliner, and panel sides(again depending on level of restoration desired).· Not sure of the condition of the engine and transmission. I've only driven it once around my property. Ran really rough, but it ran. I think the biggest problem is the Quadrajet Carburetor (they don't like to sit).
