You are bidding on a very original 1985 Chevy K-10 short wheel base, Silverado 4X4 regular cab pickup. This truck is not only a 1-Owner, 47,590 original mile truck, but it is also a rare California truck with the 5.7 liter V-8 engine from the factory. YES, this is the original engine and transmission on this truck. Apparently from the research I can do, only California emission trucks were offered with the 350 engine, everyone else got the 305 in the 1/2 ton trucks. The truck was traded in by the original owner in 1998 and purchased by the owner of NWA. It has been stored indoors and driven occasionally on nice days since then. You will get the original California title that was issued for the truck in 1985. PLEASE LOOK AT THE 90+ PICTURES I HAVE POSTED OF THIS TRUCK. The truck has an automatic transmission, auto-locking hubs, power windows, power locks, tilt wheel, cruise control, air conditioning (it is still the R-12 system from the factory), chrome brush guard, Rhino liner spray-in bed liner, 32X11.5R15 LT tires (90% tread left) and an updated am/fm/cd player. The truck has been kept as original as possible. The paint is in good shape for being 28 years old Chevy 80's paintwork. The truck does appear to have had some paintwork, but it matches and the paint on these trucks from the factory was never that good to start with. There is NO signs of any body damage or any issues. Where there were the plastic rock guards on the bed, it has caused the paint to come off in places along with the plastic over the years. We chose to leave the truck as it is, that way it's original. If you wanted to make the truck near perfect, you can have it painted yourself. There are several companies that make replacement rock guards that are colored and would hide this, but I don't try to hide anything from my customers. The truck has been gone thru and tuned up, just for this sale. It has No leaks, NO drips and does not smoke. The belts and hose have all been inspected and replaced as needed. This is NOT a truck that has been sitting around outside for years. THIS TRUCK IS READY TO BE GOTTEN IN AND DRIVEN ANYWHERE. The transmission shifts out solidly and smoothly with no issues. The transfer case and hubs all work as they should. There is no wobbles or shakes at 70 mph on the freeway. (ok keep in mind it is a 1985 pickup and drives like one). The truck has had some minor parts here and there changed as needed, but is mostly all original except for the radio.
