I took this truck on a trade on a 56 Oldsmobile I had a few months back, this truck had been in the same family for 23 years garaged kept all that time according to the young man I got it from said his dad got it for him when he was 13. You could tell he really hated to get rid of it but had some young children and needed a car for the family. The truck came out of Nevada when they bought it have copy of Nevada title, I have paper work on where the engine was gone through and all that was done before I got it. Since I have had it I have put a new Bed in it, a new floor mat, different wheels and tires, checked all the fluids and put new points and plugs, two new rear wheel cylinders and have two new front ones as well that will go with the truck. This truck is in amazing condition for its age all the metal is extremely straight, the under carriage is in great shape with no rust issues that I can see. There is a small bit of rust on the left side where the front fender meets the body that is all the rust that I can see on the truck, you can tell it has been taking very good care of. The paint is in great condition it has been driven and does have a few small nicks etc. probably would give the paint around 7 out of 10 very presentable. It hits the road great drives straight and the engine purrs like a kitten. It has the 4 speed transmission in the floor and the spare tire carrier on the side (was told they did not make many of those). The tires have probably 80% tread left on them and the wheels are Weld Billet 6 lug wheels looks great on the truck. I also still have the original tires, wheels rings and caps that came on the truck you can pick which set you want will post a picture of both. These trucks are highly sought after and very hard to find especially one in this condition that has not been cut up and patched up that is all original except the paint. The dash and interior looks great all the original gauges work except the gas gauge believe the sending unit is not hooked up does also have a new gas tank in it as well. With just a little work this could be a very high end truck kept original or turned it to a great Street Rod. I do not need help selling this truck and also it is not having to be sold due to finances just seeing what offers is out there. I will consider trades and can add cash to the right trade all trades must come to me. I have tried to tell and disclose everything that I know about this truck but it is a 60 year old truck, I have nothing to hide on this time capsule of the past.
