1999 BMW M3 Convertible 5 Speed Automatic Transmission This car is a little bit of a project for an enthusiast. This car does run and drive pretty well. I have only owned this car a week and bought it at a local auto auction. I have no service records or any records whatsoever. Some issues that I have came across so far. The power top does not work at all. Pull the e-brake and push the button and nothing happens, not even a sound. The switch in front of the center console is lit up and there is a light on in the instrument cluster for the top. I haven’t investigated it yet. The top is sealed and does not leak. The rear window is still in pretty good condition without any tears. It has some serious damage on the passenger door. The driver’s side interior door handle does not work. Antenna is missing. The HK speaker on the passenger’s side door is missing. Wear on the driver’s seat. No fog lights. Sounds like a caliper or rotor is sticking. Some interior pieces missing. Car runs and drives. I’ve put about 50 miles on it so far and will go up. It shifts out good and doesn’t get hot. Needs an oil change. Probably uses some oil, because I had to add half a quart when I got it. Car is all stock except the halo projector headlights and tail lights. Tires are decent but nothing to brag about. Passenger rear wheel is nicked up pretty good, so I will probably plasti dip all the wheels gray. It can be easily removed without any damage to the wheels paint. Power mirror switch does not work.
