Vehicle Detail
1970 nova was a 307 three speed from the factory. It now has a 350 four bolt main with a 4 speed. It is virtually untouched except for engine and trans. I did what needed to be done to drive the car and nothing more. New fuel tank, straps, and sending unit. New fuel lines, both rubber and steel. New brake lines(rubber), master cylinder, and and wheel cylinders. New front wheel bearings. New distributor and coil. New u joints. New tires. New shocks front and rear. I have put about 400 miles on the car since and it seems to run fine. This being said the car still needs plenty of work. It needs a new windshield, the fan motor dose not work(I have one that does work that goes with the car), wipers do not work, needs interior work, needs a new heater core, the front floor pans are shot, I put some sheet metal down to keep road debris from coming up my pant leg but is by no means a repair. The rest of the underside of the car looks good. The trunk has two very small rust holes by the shock mounts. The only sign of any body work is some filler behind the right rear tire, otherwise all original paint. Both rear quarters have some rust, the right a little more than the left. The trunk lid has a rust hole on the underside from a mouse nest. Small amount of rust below the rear window. This would be a great car to build and that was my plan but I have too many projects now so something has to go. This is a very honest car. It hides nothing. Original spare tire that looks to have never been used. If you decide to buy and don't care fore the wheels and tires I will take 500 off the winning bid and use them on one of my other projects, but you will need to bring your own to put back on the car. There may be a few things about the car that don't come to mind right now so if you have questions please ask. Forgot to mention that I do have the original owners manual and protecto-plate.
