This Jeep Liberty has been a great vehicle and I'm sad to see it go. My family has recently expanded and this vehicle is no longer practical. It drives and runs well, it was our primary means of transportation up to the end of September 2013. It has many, many miles left in it. There are a few minor quirks with this aging vehicle (see description), the worst being the check engine light which after investigating, results showed the code P0420: Catalyst System Efficiency Bank 1. The following is a defect summary of this vehicle. Exterior: Minor chips, scratches, and signs of wear. No major damage/dents (see pics). Front tires have about 10-15K left before they will need to be replaced. Rear tires are about 20 months old and have a lot of life left in them. Headlights, tail lights, parking lights, turn signals, fog lights work and are in good condition, no cracks. Interior: Interior is clean, carpet does have some minor stains. Leather seats are in good condition. Drivers seat showing wear but no rips, nothing major. Console and dash are in very good shape, no cracks/discoloring. There is a small blemish on driver's side door panel next to side view mirror, and small hole in headliner above. Sometime the radio volume knob does not work correctly, however volume controls on steering wheel work well. Check engine light is illuminated, Code: P0420. Engine/Drivetrain: Engine runs very well, this vehicle has never seen a drop of conventional oil, only synthetic (Mobil1). Vehicle drives and shifts well!
