Vehicle Detail
I'm not an eBay business - just a regular USA eBay member since 2002 - who will do my best to list the items details. I have an excellent eBay score maintained by my honest and accurate listings - with lots of images and positive feedback so you can bid and purchase with the highest satisfaction confidence level! The item you are bidding on is a 1954 Willys Overland Wagon. I bought it in 2006 with the thought that it would be left in the condition it was purchased in (BAD) at a remote hunting cabin I own in the Colorado Mountains for trail use. The more I researched it and looked at it, the more I liked it. This is no show car and was in poor shape when I bought it. One thing led to another... and 246 documented labor hours later I ended up making it operable. The intention was not to restore it, but make it usable. It is a standard 12 volt system with all new wiring and fuses. It has a lot of modern new features in it now. Actual mileage is unknown as original odometer was broken and has been replaced by a new one which only has 32 miles on it! This is no daily driver!!! The passenger side window has a crack in it but still functions fine. I opted not to leave it in the mountains over the winters and had to trailer it 120 miles up and back each time. Trailering was painful, so finally it ended up parked behind my shop and has remained there since 2009. It does have a front bumper mounted ball hitch tow bar that works for short trips and it has been tested. With a little bit more time and attention, this will make a great run about or trail Jeep. While I really like it, I can't justify it just sitting there and not using it ... and my wife agrees... so here it goes! Currently it has no battery in it and the gas should be drained and refilled. It should run without much trouble. I would recommend trailering it and going through it before driving it since it has been sitting 4 years. This is a local pick up auction. It is near where Parker and Arapahoe Road intersect in SE Denver Colorado. I can deliver it with my trailer within 100 miles for $1 per mile. If you want it shipped, you will need to make all the arrangements. I have the title from the seller I bought it from. Since I strictly off rode trail drove it, I never insured it or ran it through emission testing (crazy) which is required to get a new title. The title is a state of Colorado title dated 3-17-1976. I recommend you contact me with any questions or look at it if you are uncomfortable with buying a 54 year old modified vehicle! This auction has a low starting price and no reserve. Requests to end auctions early will not receive a response. Thank you for looking and good luck bidding!
