1974 Lotus Europa Special, Car #3462R with 22,992 original miles. This Lotus Twin cam special was manufactured in May 1973 and titled as a 1974. It is the original color carnival red with a very straight body. No accidents , Been in the same family for 25 years and only a weekend or special occasion driver. This car has no rust on the chassis, frame or any other metal parts. I pulled wheels off for brake inspection and all brakes and wheel cylinders look fine. Have Paperwork for a master cylinder rebuild at 19,491 miles 5/31/95 . The door panels in the interior of car are in nice shape no rips or tears. The carpet could use replacing . The seats could use reupholstering. Car is complete inside every knob and button is there. The Doors open and close as if they where still new. The chrome door handles are in good condition. The chrome gas caps have slight pitting . Front and rear bumper have no dents or dings and in very good condition for the age of the car. It has all original badges and emblems . I have 2 Replacement inserts for 2 side emblems stainless . All the glass on the car is in good condition no scratches in them . All door chrome in good condition. All taillights and headlights, bezels are in excellent condition. Blinker lights and lenses in excellent condition. The radio is not original it is a craig. Trunk compartment in very good condition. Comes with matching spare mag rim and tire. The rims are in great condition . No curb marks or scrapes, Including all center caps. The Motor compartment is clean for its age, no oil anywhere. Everything in motor compartment is original and there, except pollution control canister is missing . Car was driven occasionally but has not been driven in the last 18 months due to illness. The oil has been changed and battery has been charged . Pulled chokes and car fired right up. As seen in Youtube videos. You can watch the video of the car running , the motor sounds fantastic as it should with the low miles and idles perfect. The car has only been driven up and down the driveway and can also see that in the videos. The steering feels nice and exhaust sounds good . The car is in its original gel coat which makes it easy for a repaint on this car. I think its best to leave it this way for the new owner to choose the color of choice or the original color carnival red. The car would not take much to restore and make it your own .
