Vehicle Detail

Your looking at a 2006 M3, Competition/ZCP, Jet Black, SMG. The car has 51,000 miles Factory Options From BMW - Competition Package - Premium Package - Cold Weather Package - Parking Assist (Sensors) - Navigation - Heated Front Seats (with memory) - Park Distance Control - Harmon-kardon Sound System - Xenon Headlights - Smg-sequential Manuel Gearbox - Bluetooth - Moonroof - Jet Black Also Included - ALL original booklets, manuals, and window sticker - Two factory OEM keys and vallet key - Thick folder of all maintenance records, dealer records, etc The following has been done in the last 6-7000 miles. It has very tasteful "modifications" Absolutely no engine/drivetrain mods what so ever. Mostly appearance, handling, or maintenance. Have stock parts as well that were taken off if you wish to turn back to 100% original. - Brand new authentic CSL wheels, the rears are ZCP but they are new as well. The fronts are REAL AUTHENTIC CSL. I removed the old ones because of previous owner curb rash. - New TC Kline SA suspension. (Have stock) I've also replaced the bearing blocks after initial install so it no longer squeaks. - New Michelin PSS tires. 275/30-19 rear, 245/35-19 front - Rogue Engineering 10mm spacers up front - RRT lug conversion - New Powerflex RTAB's - New Powerflex FCAB's - Corner balanced - Aligned - New belts - New battery (CSL/MINI) - WeatherTech Precision Floorliners - Rear diff seal replaced (warranty item) - New glass and window motor on drivers side (warranty item) - 35% tint - Body color painted front side reflectors - Black grills/gills (Have Stock Chrome grills as well!!) - Intravee with the Alpine interface for iPod - Sirius radio. The Sirius has worked for free since the install, I bought it used. No guarantees for how long the subscription will last but it's been two years so far! If you are looking at this car, chances are you know a fair amount about it. However if not here is some info on the ZCP/Competition package and SMG transmission Competition/ZCP Package- This was offered by BMW for only the last two production years of the E46 ('05 & '06) It is basically a "de-tuned" european CSL version (which is extremely rare and normally reaches 6 figure prices) The differences from a normal M3 to an M3 with the Competition package are listed below.. - Larger compound and cross drilled brake rotors - Different steering rack similar to a CSL, has a tighter ratio, steers completely different from an M3 - Alcantra wrapped Steering wheel, SMG gear selector, and e-brake handle. - All cruise and stereo buttons removed from steering wheel, fitted only with a Track Mode button that changes the rear diff and traction control settings - 19" csl wheels (very light weight). - Competition/ZCP only brushed aluminum trim To me a ZCP car is very different from a normal m3. You get more of an "experience" driving the car. SMG Transmission- It is the exact same gearbox as the 6 speed manual that was offered. The only difference being the clutch is controlled by a hydraulic pump controlled by a brain box. There is no clutch pedal in the car, but it is a manual. You have to drive it like a manual, and get used to driving it like a manual. The car "operates" the clutch as you press on the gas pedal. There are many cool features like 6 different shift maps you can select from to change the severity of the gear change, also rev matching on down shifts, and launch control. This transmission shifts faster than a human in S6 mode, and really cannot ever "miss" a shift like a human. It is faster than the 6 speed manual car. Car was originally from California, then shipped to previous owner in Illinois (Chicago Area), and now owned by me in MN. I am the third owner of the car. It has 51,200 miles and slowly rising I have a full photobucket album available with pictures of the car. (over 70 pictures) Please contact me for further info or the link to this album. ANY questions or concerns do not hesitate to ask. Thank you!
