You are looking at a ultra rare 1947 Matchless G80L. The Matchless G80 is a single cylinder 500 cc British motorcycle built by Associated Motorcycles (AMC) between 1946 and 1966. This early G80 is referred to as a G80L, the L signifying "Teledraulic" forks, rather than girder forks. This bike has had a cosmetic freshening up on some of the paint, like the gas tank, fenders, taillight/ license plate bracket, headlight bucket, chain guard, oil tank, front fender plate and battery tray. The rest of the paint is original. She till needs wiring. I did get the bike running for the quick video, but she still is being listed as a project and a non running bike. This Matchless has a valid Vermont transferable registration that serves as a title in the state of Vermont in my name. She is not perfect as there are some nicks, scratches, and some buttoning up that still needs done, but If you know what this bike is then you know how rare they are, so I am going to let my video, slideshow and pictures do the talking.
